Having busy careers our clients were after a sanctuary to act as a base for their large family, many artefacts and art works collected during their lives. The key word was to be ‘bold’ and that each each room should celebrate and be a stand alone colour feature. The clients also loved the wood features through out the home and it was decided from the start that these should be maintained and celebrated as part of the overall look. All timber elements were carefully labelled, restored and reinstalled alongside the new colour schemes through out. The end result is a 'hello to the world' from the outside and to all visitors upon entering – celebrating each room and the displayed collections and artefacts within.
